Back to School Backpacks

The Trinity Properties Group at Fathom Realty and local AmCap Home Loans Branch Manager, William Branch,  are leading a Drive to help Cain Middle School students in Heath, TX, Edge Middle School Students in Nevada, TX, and Willett Elementary School Students in Forney, TX,  in need of school backpacks filled with supplies.

For many children and families, backpacks and school supplies are simply not affordable purchases. Every child deserves to begin their academic career with the tools necessary to become an engaged and successful student.  According to Derrice Randle, principal at Cain Middle School in Heath, Texas, “and many students have used the same backpacks since third grade.  These backpacks are falling apart and many of our teachers will provide a backpack and supplies out of their own money to help our kids…”

During a recent lunch, Tommy McMahan, Team Leader  for Trinity Properties Group at Fathom Realty  recognized this need and decided to come up with a plan to give back to the community. With one of the Trinity Properties Group’s core values being community minded, this type of effort fits with the vision and the timing of the year.

 

With the natural partnership of AmCap Home Mortgage Office, William Branch, Tommy and fellow Trinity Properties Group agents Matthew Bryan, Ashley Henson, Jennifer Courbier, Terry Wilson, Jaclyn Weesner and Lauren Enyeart,  have taken to Social Media asking the community of Rockwall, Heath and surrounding areas to partner with them providing a full backpack or partially filled backpack of supplies.  Backpacks can be dropped off Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm at the AmCap Office located at 25 Noble Court Ste 101 Heath, TX 75032 or you can call/text 972-896-8046 to arrange alternate drop off.

The goal is provide 25 backpacks per school  filled with various school supplies that Elementary/Middle Schoolers would need.
